Meet
Elaine Starr

Elaine Starr grew up in Southern California studying ballet. As she went on to work as a professional dancer and model she realized that it wasn’t enough to be physically in shape, but also necessary to be emotionally and mentally fit as well. The healthier and happier she became, the more fulfilling opportunities came her way.
Elaine has been danced in film, music video and television, as well as having been featured in Vogue Italia, Flaunt Magazine, Sheer Magazine and Penida Magazine. She holds a Nutrition and Healthy Living Certificate from Cornell University and founded Starr Pilates in 2016.
Her mission is to help clients create sustainable internal shifts that feel great and radiate outward.
Testimonials
"Elaine gives you a personalized program that deals with the complicated emotions around food and helps you get I touch with what authentically works for you and your body. This is not one size fits all work. Elaine also combines scientific knowledge about our bodies and nutrition with warmth, humor and intuitive smarts. I cannot recommend her working with her highly enough. I always leave our sessions feeling built up and wiser."

"I decided to take this more well-rounded approach to wellness as opposed to simply working out until I died. Elaine has guided me through a better understanding of what my body needs to truly thrive...which has in turn left me feeling healthier, more fit, and more energized."

"Working with Elaine as a nutrition coach has been a blessing for my mind, body and spirit! I wanted to achieve some weight loss goals but was very confused: had sworn off overly-restrictive diets, intuitive eating wasn’t getting me where I wanted to go and the way I was practicing it - didn’t leave me feeling my best. We joked that I had tried everything and nothing. (Neither worked.)"
